Contract management software for small business
Contract management software for small business helps a team without a legal department write, sign, store and renew agreements in one place. Signee does this for a flat monthly price with three users included: AI drafts the agreement from a sentence, clients sign online, and you get an email before any contract renews or its notice period ends.

Contracts in a small business are nobody's full time job
In a company of five or fifty people, contracts belong to whoever happens to need one. The founder signs client agreements, the office manager keeps the lease and the software subscriptions, and a salesperson copies last year's order form and changes the names. There is no legal ops team, and there is no budget for a system that needs a consultant to set up.
That is the situation Signee is built for. It is contract management software you can learn in an hour, priced per team rather than per seat. You do not need to understand contract lifecycle management software as a discipline to use it; you only need to send agreements, get them signed and stop missing renewal dates.
The first draft is usually the slowest part. Instead of hunting for an old Word file, you describe the deal in one sentence and the AI contract generator writes a structured agreement with parties, fees, term and signature blocks, highlighting any field it could not fill. Generated agreements are templates, not legal advice, and Signee is not a law firm, so have a lawyer look at anything unusual or high value.

What to set up first in a small team
You can use Signee in this order and stop at any point. Each step is useful on its own.
-
1
Send the next agreement
Draft your next client or vendor agreement in Signee and send it for signature instead of emailing a PDF.
-
2
Save it as a template
Turn the agreement you send most often into a template with variables for client name, fee and dates.
-
3
Invite the people who sign
Add up to two colleagues on Starter, for example the person who handles finance and the person who sells.
-
4
Set an owner for each renewal
Assign each agreement to a person who gets the email before the notice date passes.
Signing that clients actually finish
Small businesses lose deals in the gap between a verbal yes and a signature. A client opens the PDF on a phone, cannot find where to sign, and forgets. Signee sends each signer a link that opens in the browser on any screen, checks before sending that no required field is empty, and reminds the client on the schedule you choose. Signers do not need an account or an app.
Every finished agreement is sealed with an audit trail certificate that records who opened, consented and signed, with timestamps. For more on how the signing step works and what the certificate contains, see our page on electronic signature software.
Once signed, the agreement is filed with its key dates already read from the text. If a retainer renews automatically on the first of next month with 30 days notice, the owner hears about it in time to renegotiate the fee, not after it has already rolled over.
