AI contract management
AI contract management software that reads every agreement
AI contract management software uses a language model at each stage of an agreement. Signee drafts contracts from a sentence, reads every signed agreement to pull out parties, value, renewal dates, notice deadlines and obligations, files it in a searchable repository and alerts the owner before a notice period closes, without anyone typing the dates in.
- Key dates read from every signed PDF
- Obligations listed per agreement
- Searchable repository
- Renewal alerts by email
| Agreement | Type | Key date |
|---|---|---|
| Brightline payroll services | Vendor | Notice by Nov 2, 2026 |
| Harbor Analytics MSA | Customer | Notice by Nov 14, 2026 |
| Cloud hosting order 2026 | Vendor | Notice by Nov 30, 2026 |
| Kestrel design SOW 5 | Supplier | Awaiting signature |
The problem is not storage, it is reading
Most companies already know where their contracts are. They sit in a shared drive, an inbox or an old e-signature account. What nobody has time for is reading each one and writing down when it renews, how much notice it needs, what the payment terms are and what the company promised to deliver. That is why auto renewals slip through and service credits go unclaimed.
Signee does that reading for you. When an agreement is signed in Signee, the text is passed through extraction that returns the start date, end date, renewal mechanics, notice deadline and contract value, and stores them as structured fields next to the PDF. On Business and Company plans it also lists obligations such as payment terms, service levels and deliverables, each with a due date and a short summary.
The result is contract management software where the repository answers questions directly. Search for every vendor agreement with a notice period under 60 days, or every customer contract above 50,000 USD that renews this quarter, and get a list instead of a weekend of reading.

Where AI does the work
Four jobs the model does across the agreement
Each AI step has a monthly allowance in your plan and runs only for paying workspaces. Usage counts per billing period, so deleting a record never gives the allowance back.
Drafting
One sentence becomes a structured agreement with clauses, variables and signature fields. In every plan.
Key date extraction
Start, end, renewal and notice deadline are read from each signed agreement and turned into alerts. In every plan.
Obligations
Payment terms, service levels and deliverables are listed per agreement with due dates. Business and Company.
Playbook review
Incoming paper is compared with your approved positions and risky clauses are flagged. Company plan.

Contracts you signed before Signee
A repository is only useful if the old agreements are in it too. On the Company plan you can import up to 500 existing signed contracts per month. Each PDF goes through the same extraction as a contract signed in Signee, so a three year old supplier agreement gets a renewal date, a notice deadline and an owner just like a new one.
Extraction is not perfect, and Signee does not pretend it is. Extracted dates are editable fields next to the PDF, so the owner can check them against the text and correct anything that was read wrongly. Alerts always follow the current value.
The renewal side has its own page. Contract renewal management software explains how alerts are scheduled before each notice date and who receives them. If you want the whole picture from request to renewal, including approvals and signing, read about contract lifecycle management software.

Review is where AI saves the most time for legal and procurement. Contract review software in Signee compares a counterparty draft with the positions in your clause library and shows each deviation next to your fallback wording.
